Upon graduating from Taylor’s University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, majoring in Public Relations and Marketing, Carmen is a firm believer in ‘be afraid and then do it anyway’ and constantly craves for challenges.
Prior to graduation, she worked at a PR boutique agency, where she learned to embrace PR as part of a lifestyle, rather than work.
As cliche as it sounds, she believes that PR does not solely serve as the link between the marketers and the public, it’s also a form of art which creates and delivers the right message to the audience, as well as moulding the public’s perception of the clients.
She works closely with her account managers to develop PR strategies and campaigns, as well as nurturing relationships with clients and media.
Aside from hustling for her day job, she can be found at the local indie bookstores, thrift stores and art galleries during the weekends.
Currently, she’s working on a myriad of accounts include Tiffin Food Court, Urbanscapes, Perrier-Jouet Malaysia, and W Kuala Lumpur.
