Born and bred in Kuala Lumpur, Su Ann is a former lifestyle editor and writer at Time Out Kuala Lumpur who cut her teeth covering culture, music and style stories in the city.
At Commas PR, she has led publicity efforts for accounts and clients such as Chivas Regal – and its global social entrepreneurship competition and fund, Chivas Venture – as well as Heineken Malaysia. Su Ann is committed to helping clients the likes of modern Malaysian fine-dining restaurant Dewakan, and Malaysian multi-platform content provider GOASEAN, reach new heights by emboldening them with communications counsel and services.
On the daily, she develops strategies and works on a wide-range of millennial-facing clients and events, such as Sony Music Malaysia and Urbanscapes.
Su Ann is a (pop) culture addict, dabbles in film photography, and spends a considerable amount of time in bookstores and cinemas, at gigs and museums. She has contributed to Esquire Malaysia, malaysia.my, and her many friends’ stapled and Xerox-ed zines.
